June 14 : Collaboration

Our monthly meeting will be June 14th. This month we get two guest speakers: Charlene Ball and Libby Ware. Charlene Ball and Libby Ware are both authors of historical fiction novels and other forms of short craft.

Their topic will be collaboration. Come hang out with us at the Rome Library, 6-8PM, on Thursday, June 14th. If time allows, there will be readings. Bring something if you would like to participate. The public is welcome.

Anthology submissions are due by July 12.

Next year RAW is having its 20th anniversary. Stay tuned for more.

March Meeting is Tonight

We are having our March meeting tonight at the regular location. We are also having refreshments for this meeting. Come and mingle with the members of your local Rome Area Writers tonight and listen to some flash fiction.

The Writers Forum 2017, Saturday. March 11, 2017

We will be welcoming three speakers this year to the forum.

  • Eric Haney, Novelist and Screenwriter
  • Andrew Plattner, Novelist and Short Story Writer
  • Raymond L. Atkins, Novelist

This year’s topic will be: How to Add Humor to Your Writing, Writing Action Scenes and Screenplays, and Character Conflicts in Literature.

Come join us in some writerly camaraderie with these great speakers. A continental breakfast is available during the registration hour. We will break for lunch and snacks.
